So I Got Punched in the Head by a Buck-Ass Naked Man This Weekend

I visited my friend at Conn College this past weekend for their Floralia festivities. It can be reasonably said that a good time was had by all, Santogold and B.o.B played and were spectacular. Some people said that B.o.B was better but this is false, they had probably never heard of either one and thought Santogold was "weird." (Her mixtape with Diplo is awesome.) A few notes:

• The ConnColl kids woke up really early. I'm talking 7.30 AM and earlier and started drinking immediately upon rising. A particularly interesting ritual was a beer in the shower. I wonder if it is a regional thing.
  


• At some point in the afternoon (I think I was heading back for a nap before the nighttime shows began) I ran into one of CoCo's best and brightest who was 20+ Natural Lights into the day. He was about to shower after having been highlighted with blood from a cut on his head which he touched and then apparently subsequently touched much of his chest and face, for they too were streaked with blood. He said something I interpreted as sarcastically antagonizing cause I didn't want to give is bloody fist a "pound" and I responded with, "What, you wanna go?" He didn't get the sarcasm through his drunkenness and came at me, towel falling off and everything. I don't remember precisely what happened, I think I ducked his first swing and then he got me on the head with the second one before I ducked into my friend's room. I'm recovering well.

• I stood on a bench near the front for Santogold's set. I stood next to a girl named Ana who was kinda cute but a tiny bit "thick" and told me she was a dance major. I wondered if she was actually bad at dancing because most dancers I have come across are thin and flexible and can jump and so forth, attributes I did not see her possessing. Anyway she was nice and I was grateful because I had taken her friend's spot and she didn't give me a hard time. The view from the bench allowed me to take some cool pics with my new DSLR.
