Should I Have Put These On My Xanga?

Just thought I'd share two of my recent "conceptual pieces."

I wrote a poem inspired by this photo my friend is tagged in on da book.

















I saw a funny and poignant picture on the internet
I loled for days
and nights
just sitting in my room
loling.

I'm watching two sparrows fight in the park

One is shaking or twitching and the other one is lunging at it.

The first one hops away and the second one jumps at it again

They are differently colored and I think the one springing is male and the one showing off is female.

Last week I watched males in basketball jerseys or other, similar tanktops and backwards hats and shorts look at females wearing dresses or tanktops and sunglasses

I think that without the rules our society has created

The males would be pouncing on the females that were showing off.

And maybe that's not "wrong."

Or maybe we should stop being hung up on what's right and wrong.
